Gold pledged, not sold.

02 · Pledged, not sold

Pledged, not sold.

In India, families pledge their gold for cash instead of selling it, and take it home again when the loan is repaid.

Adag, from the Tamil word adagu, a pledge, does the same with bitcoin, on Arc.

Where is the bitcoin? cirBTC is Circle's wrapped bitcoin, backed 1:1 and held by Circle, with public reserves. Pledged, it sits in your own Morpho position and is not lent out. Adag never holds it.

Five steps, one signature.

Paying a bill from bitcoin is five calls on Arc. You sign them once, as one batch, and they land together. A run of up to 10 supplier bills fits in the same one signature.

05 · The 40% line

The 40% line

Adag never lets a payment push the loan past 40% of the bitcoin's value, however many bills it pays. Morpho's own line is far beyond it.

  1. 01

No owner, no upgrade, no pause

There is no admin key and no switch. The 40% line and every address Adag trusts were fixed when it was deployed.

    The contract on Arc

  2. 02

    Never holds your money

Each payment moves from the paying wallet to the supplier inside one transaction. Nothing of yours waits in Adag.

  3. 03

    Source verified

The code running on Arc matches the published source exactly, checked by Sourcify and by Arc's explorer, for every contract Adag uses.

  4. 04

Refuses anything past 40%, even hand-built transactions

The check lives in the contract, not the website. A payment that would push the loan past 40% reverts, whoever builds it.

06 · After you pay

Paid. Then looked after.

Paying is where most tools stop. Adag keeps working on the loan your bitcoin backs: it repays part when the loan crosses your line, tells you on Telegram, and pays from the company Safe your treasury already lives in.

  1. 01

    The loan guard

When a loan crosses a line you choose, the guard repays part of it from your own USDC or EURC, just enough to bring it back to your target.

The most this can ever take is your approval.

Stop any time: the rule clears and the approval goes to 0.

    How the loan guard works
  2. 02

    Telegram alerts

A message when a loan gets close to a level you set, and one each time the guard repays. Adag never tells anyone else whether a wallet has alerts.

    How alerts work
  3. 03

    Pay from a company Safe

One bill or up to ten, proposed to the Safe and signed by its owners the way they sign anything else. At execution it lands whole or not at all.

  4. 04

    Already borrowing on Morpho

Record the loan you have once. No money moves. From then on you can pay bills from cash, and Adag checks your loan against the one you recorded.
